Eligibility Information

  those students who are have passed Higher Secondary Pat-II Examination (ClassXII) of the J&K Board of School Education or any equivalent examination recognized by the University of Jammu are eligible for the admission to B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/BBA Sem-I Class..

 Students seeking admission to BBA /BCA Part-I class should have secured minimum of 50% marks in Class XII Examination for general category and 45 % for reserved category students

 Students belonging to reserved categories as listed in SRO 294 dated 21-10-2005 shall get the benefit of 5% weight age in their total marks while considering them for the admission.

 Mathematics as one of the elective subjects in 12th class is compulsory for BCA.

 A candidate, who has not qualified Higher Secondary Part-II examination in Commerce stream, is also not eligible for B.Com against 25% of the total seats provided candidate has obtained 60% in the qualifying examination (55% in case of SC/ST).

 Students who have a break in their academic career can be considered for the admission subject to the availability of seats.

 Duly filled admission forms of all the selected candidates shall be scrutinized along with enclosures before they are granted admission. They shall then deposit the admission fee in the college office on or before the last date fixed for the same .

ADMISSION RULES

    Under process certificate will not be entertained..

    Students whose result is declared late by the J&K Board are eligible for admission, subject to the availability of seats.

    Students who have a break in their academic career can be considered for the admission subject to the availability of seats.

   Duly filled admission forms of all the selected candidates shall be scrutinized along with enclosures before they are granted admission. They shall then deposit the admission fee in the college office on or before the last date fixed for the same

Note

   Students desirous of availing scholarships/students aid are further advised to contact college scholarship committee for guidance and details regarding these schemes.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

The following certificates must be attached with the admission form

    AProvisional certificate issued by the Institution last attended. ( Original )

    Marks certificate of the class last passed (Original & Four attested photocopies).

    Character certificate issued by the head of the institution last attended. ( original )

    Under process certificate will not be entertained..

    In case of private candidates, a character certificate signed by first class Magistrate/ Panchayat Sarpanch/ MLA/ SHO of the area to which the student belongs or by a Gazzeted officer. (Original)

    Four copies of a recent passport size photograph.

   Matriculation certificate (Original & four attested copies).

    In case of wards of military/Para military personnel/central Govt.employees, Transfer certificate of father or guardian is to be enclosed in original.

   Reserved category certificate from the competent authority as stated in SRO-126 /294, (Original and two attested photocopies).

    Student passing from the school board /university other than J&K Board of School Education/Jammu University are required to produce a migration certificate in original and four attested photocopies thereof. .

    The following undertaking in the form of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paperof Rs.10 duly attested by a notary (as per format given in Annexure I)

   Students with break in their academic career are required to provide an additional undertaking on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/-attested by a notary (as per format given in Annexure II)

    Students who have passed their higher Secondary Part-ll(10+2) or an equivalent examination from a Board other than J&K Board are required to enclose an undertaking on a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.10/-attested by a notary;as per format given in Annexure-III).

   Students passing from the school board other than J&K board required to fill eligibility form available; in the College.
